Popular Twitch streamer Pokimane explained her decision to stop working on her cookie company, Myna Snacks, which she started in 2023.
Pokimane revealed the new business venture in November. The first product from Myna, called Midnight Mini Cookies, was marketed as gluten-free, non-GMO, and a source of Vitamin D.
Okay, so remember those tiny cookies everyone was talking about when they first came out? They were kinda pricey, and honestly, the company, Myna, just… disappeared. Like, totally vanished. Their website is gone, all their social media is gone – it’s been two years and nobody knows what happened to them. It’s a real mystery as a fan!
I was so relieved when Pokimane finally addressed everything in a TikTok video on April 1st, 2026! She shared what she’d learned from all her big projects, and it was really insightful. It was cool to hear her reflect on everything she’s built and the lessons she took away from each venture.

Pokimane says her creator status clashed with Myna Snacks
In a recent video, Poki suggested that Myna might be shutting down soon. She explained that she decided to stop working with the brand because being a popular content creator didn’t fit with the company’s direction.
She admitted the launch didn’t go well. It showed her that being a content creator and running a business are completely different things.
Businesses generally have more flexibility than those built around a personal brand. Once I understood that being the public face of the company wasn’t working for me, I decided to step down and let the business continue on its own.
Even though the business was profitable, I didn’t take any money for myself. Instead, all the earnings were reinvested into either employee compensation or further growth.

Pokimane shared that she hasn’t personally profited from OfflineTV’s ownership, as she and the other founders never sold the company. She also advised against starting a business with friends or family, explaining that mixing personal relationships with business can create unnecessary difficulties.
Additionally, Poki announced she had sold her ownership in RTS, the management and consulting firm she started in 2021, explaining she wanted to bring in managers with experience from different industries.
She explained that she didn’t feel comfortable working for a management company when she wasn’t receiving management services herself. She also mentioned she earned “at least six figures” from selling her stake.
