Okay, so I just read about the newest Pokémon games coming out in 2027 – Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves! They’re going to be on the Nintendo Switch 2, and from what I’ve heard, they’re going all-out with an open world. Imagine exploring these beautiful, windswept islands and a huge ocean!
You’ll get to create your trainer and even have different outfits depending on whether you play Winds or Waves. The really cool part is choosing your first Pokémon! You can pick Browt, this adorable little Bean Chick Pokémon (it’s a Grass type); Pombon, a fiery Puppy Pokémon; or Gecqua, a Water Gecko Pokémon. Browt is tiny, only a foot tall and weighs about 7.7 pounds, with the ability Overgrow. Pombon is a bit bigger at a foot and four inches and almost 15 pounds, and it has Blaze. Gecqua is about the same size as Browt, weighs around 9.5 pounds, and has Torrent as its ability.
And this is awesome – they’re officially adding Brazilian Portuguese as a language option! That means even more people around the world can jump in and enjoy the Pokémon adventure. If you want to know more, you can check out Pokemon.com/WindsWaves. I’m already hyped!
