The Pokémon Company has announced Pokémon Presents 2026, along with news of a much-awaited game re-release for Nintendo Switch.
Each year, Pokémon presents a showcase of upcoming content through a live stream. This usually includes new features for Pokémon Go and the trading card game, as well as reveals of any games currently in development.
Pokemon Day is here, and that means a new Pokemon Presents showcase is coming with lots of exciting announcements for the series! Here’s everything you need to know about when and where to watch, plus a preview of what’s been revealed so far.
Dates
The next Pokémon Presents showcase will be held on February 27, 2026, at 2 PM UTC. That’s 2 PM GMT, 6 AM Pacific Time, 9 AM Eastern Time, and 3 PM Central European Time.
February 27th is Pokémon Day, and this year the company is celebrating 30 years of Pokémon, so the upcoming stream is expected to be a major event for fans.

You can watch Pokemon Presents on YouTube, Twitch, Instagram, or TikTok when the stream goes live.

What’s been announced
Pokemon FireRed and Pokemon LeafGreen for Switch
Pokémon has revealed some new games ahead of their official Pokémon Presents showcase. The classic games Pokémon FireRed and Pokémon LeafGreen will be released on both the Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Switch 2.
Naturally, this will release on February 27, the day of Pokemon Presents across both platforms.
Predictions
I’m so excited for Pokopia to come out on March 5th! It makes me think we’ll probably get a new trailer or some gameplay footage soon, which I’m really hoping for!
We can also expect to learn more about the Pokemon TCG Pocket app, possibly including details about future card sets, booster packs, and new features.
