Okay, so as a gamer, I was hyped during today’s Nintendo Direct! The Pokémon Company and Nintendo just revealed Pokémon Legends: Z-A, and it looks like it’s going to be set in a Mega Dimension! It’s awesome to finally see what they’ve been working on.
This trailer showcases more than six minutes of gameplay from Pokemon Legends: Z-A. It comes shortly after the announcement of the Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Mega Dimension DLC. You can find details on the DLC here. We also have a preview of Pokemon Legends: Z-A available here.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A launches on October 16 for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
You can find the new Pokémon Legends: Z-A Overview Trailer with more details from Nintendo below:
An adventure across Lumiose City is about to begin!
No matter if you’re a longtime Pokémon enthusiast or a complete beginner about to throw your first Poké Ball, Pokémon Legends: Z-A has something for all Trainers.
Capture Pokémon, engage in battles, and even Mega Evolve them-all happening live-as you strive to be the very best Pokémon Trainer around!
If you’re a Nintendo Switch player with Pokémon Legends: Z-A, you can get the Nintendo Switch 2 version by buying the upgrade pack. This allows you to play the game on the new Nintendo Switch 2 console.
I’m so excited to start my adventure! I get to choose between Chikorita, Tepig, or Totodile as my very first Pokémon partner and begin exploring Lumiose City. Throughout my journey, I’ll find Pokémon everywhere – around town and roaming freely in the wild zones. The best part? I can catch, battle, and even Mega Evolve them in real-time battles – something totally new for Pokémon RPGs! I can’t wait to build my dream team and climb the ranks of the Z-A Royale.
And I can team up with friends! I can battle locally1 or online with a Nintendo Switch Online membership2, facing off against up to three other Trainers in some seriously frenetic battles.
But it’s not all battling! I’ll be able to make my home at Hotel Z and get to know the mysterious owner, AZ. I can also visit cool boutiques for new outfits and hairstyles, relax with my Pokémon at cafés, and find awesome photo opportunities, especially at the Prism Tower in the city center. Lumiose City is packed with interesting characters too. I’m looking forward to making friends in Urbain or Taunie, meeting Quasartico Inc.’s CEO, Jett, and helping people out to earn rewards and more!
