A new PlayStation State of Play event is happening tomorrow, Wednesday, September 24th. This will be the second State of Play this month.
The event will feature over 35 minutes of announcements and updates from developers globally. This event was expected, as a trusted source had previously mentioned it.
Sony announced they’ll be showcasing upcoming games from both independent developers and other companies, alongside news and extended gameplay – over five minutes long, captured on PlayStation 5 – from their own PlayStation Studios teams, including a detailed look at the new game, Saros, from Housemarque, which is expected to release next year.

PlayStation will host a State of Play presentation on September 24th at 2 PM Pacific Time / 5 PM Eastern Time. You can watch it live on platforms like YouTube and Twitch.
Aside from the five minutes of gameplay revealed from Saros, we don’t have much information about what other games might be featured. Potential options include Marvel’s Wolverine by Insomniac Games, a new title from Naughty Dog called Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, and various games from other developers.
This is the second PlayStation State of Play presentation this September, coming after the September 3rd event dedicated to the game 007: First Light. It’s been over two years since PlayStation held a larger, more comprehensive showcase event.
