Square Enix has updated Paranormasight: The Mermaid’s Curse with Patch 1.1. This update simplifies some of the game’s puzzles, provides extra hints, and resolves several bugs.

Thanks for playing Paranormasight: The Mermaid’s Curse! We’ve just released an update (Version 1.1). Here’s what’s new:
Specification Changes
Error messages will now be displayed if a manual save fails.
We’ve made some puzzles simpler to solve by providing more helpful instructions and making the rules less strict.
Some puzzles have been adjusted so that the Storyteller’s hints are more detailed.
Bug Fixes
Several minor issues have been fixed.
Precautions
If you try to load a saved game from a chapter that’s been updated, it might not work correctly. After an update, you’ll need to start that chapter over from the beginning.
We’re really sorry for the trouble this caused. If you hold down the Cancel button, you can quickly skip ahead – please try using that to continue with the chapter.
