As a huge fan of Westerns, I’ve been completely captivated by Taylor Sheridan’s work. After his incredible New American Frontier trilogy, he really became the go-to guy for modern Western entertainment. He’s achieved something rare – succeeding as a writer, director, and producer, which basically makes him a Hollywood legend. While his work with Kevin Costner is fantastic, I think his biggest achievement is creating what I genuinely believe is the best Western lawman show we’ve seen in decades.

By 2026, the number of fantastic open-world games has exploded, offering everything from traditional fantasy adventures to immersive trips to historical periods – all with endless hours of gameplay. While popular titles often get all the attention, many amazing games are hidden gems. Both long-time fans and newcomers to the genre will find something to love if they explore what’s new in open-world gaming.

The most compelling anime often features siblings who are incredibly powerful – capable of building up or destroying entire nations. Despite any competition between them, they’ll always put their lives on the line for each other, becoming an unbeatable team against the challenges of a harsh world.

Okay, so I was checking Regal Cinemas and they’ve got The Odyssey listed at just 2 hours and 40 minutes long! That’s pretty short. But Universal hasn’t said if that runtime is right yet, so we’ll have to wait and see if it’s accurate.

When the new episodes finally started airing, the response was… underwhelming, to say the least. Critics weren’t shy about it – The Atlantic said it felt like a pale imitation of what it used to be, and Variety went as far as to call it fanfiction. Even Time pointed out how predictable every storyline was, relying on tired old clichés. My coworker Roxana Hadadi put it perfectly: it looked stunning, but felt completely empty. The Emmys often lag behind the curve – we’ve seen shows nominated for years after everyone’s lost interest (like This Is Us and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) – but I have a feeling this season of Euphoria is so disappointing, it might finally knock the show off its Emmys pedestal.

The 60th anniversary celebration took a surprising turn to bring David Tennant back. Instead of reprising his role as the Tenth Doctor for new adventures, he played a brand new incarnation – the Fourteenth Doctor – into whom Jodie Whittaker’s Thirteenth Doctor transformed at the end of the 2022 special, “The Power of the Doctor.”

Natalie Erika James returns to original storytelling with her new film, following her work on the Rosemary’s Baby prequel, Apartment 7A. The movie stars Francis as Hana, a young medical student who’s dealing with body image issues and hoping to start dating Alanya, a gym instructor.
