Capcom has announced that Onimusha: Way of the Sword on the Nintendo Switch 2 will display in upscaled 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second when played while docked, and an upscaled 900p resolution at 30fps in handheld mode.
The official product page for Onimusha: Way of the Sword reveals that the Switch 2 version will offer a choice between a standard 30fps frame rate and a variable rate of 30-40fps. A demo is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Steam, with a Switch 2 demo coming soon.

Capcom published technical specs for the PlayStation and Xbox versions of the game, but didn’t include information about a potential PS5 Pro version. My tests show that the game will feature ray tracing on the PS5 Pro – a visual effect not available on other consoles.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword launches on September 25th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, PC via Steam, and Nintendo Switch 2.
