Building on the success of WWE 2K25, 2K has released WWE 2K26, the latest installment in the wrestling game series. This year’s version includes a large selection of wrestlers, and once again features Oba Femi.
Many fans are disappointed with how former WWE NXT Champion Femi appears in the new game. His character model, outfit, and entrance are noticeably similar to those in the previous year’s edition, looking outdated to some.
Femi recently addressed fan concerns about how he looks in the game, sharing good news on the No-Contest Wrestling podcast.
The original Oba Femi character was based on how I moved and styled my hair during the initial motion capture process. I walked and wore my hair up at that time, so that’s reflected in the early version of the character. But don’t worry, we’re working on updates! Fans will definitely see the character with the original walk and hair down – I guarantee it.
WWE regularly updates its video game with new and returning wrestlers. Last year, Aleister Black was added after returning to WWE. This year, in WWE 2K23, players saw Michin/Mia Yim and Candice LeRae added to the game after it was released.
WWE star Kelly Kelly recently expressed disappointment about not being included in the WWE 2K26 video game. Although she’s one of several wrestlers missing from the initial roster, WWE has introduced a new “Ringside Pass” feature. This allows fans to unlock and play as additional Superstars by completing in-game challenges and earning points.
