HoYoverse, the company behind popular games like Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, is trying something new with its next project, Petit Planet. Unlike their previous titles, Petit Planet promises a relaxing and charming experience.
As a huge Animal Crossing fan, I instantly fell in love with Petit Planet! You basically get to build up your own little planet, and then you can connect with other players’ planets to create a whole galaxy. You start solo, developing your own world, and what’s really cool is that each planet is unique. It’s all thanks to something called ‘Luca,’ which is like the life force of the planet and changes the landscape, making every world feel different.
The game lets you enjoy familiar activities like farming, fishing, collecting shells, mining, cooking, and making things. You’ll find rare plants, explore different environments, and get to know interesting people who live nearby. And good news – Tom Nook isn’t around this time!
Embark on a Starsea Voyage to explore hidden Islets, and you might discover rare creatures, delicious recipes, and new Neighbors to connect with. The Galactic Bazaar is Petit Planet’s lively community center, hosting festivals and offering a place to meet other players.
Petit Planet is looking for players to test out their cozy new game! You can register on their website for a chance to participate. The game is planned for release on both computers and mobile devices, but they haven’t announced a specific release date yet.
