A new version of Pride and Prejudice has been announced, and Netflix hopes it will be as popular as Wuthering Heights. While Jane Austen’s novel has been adapted for the screen many times before, the streaming service thinks this latest take, featuring two highly-regarded actors, will beautifully retell the timeless love story.
Netflix just released a first look at its upcoming adaptation of Pride and Prejudice. Emma Corrin, known for The Crown, will play Elizabeth Bennet, and Jack Lowden (Slow Horses) will play Mr. Darcy. You can watch the teaser trailer below.
