Jimmy Donaldson, known as MrBeast, has announced that the second season of his Amazon Prime show, ‘Beast Games,’ will be released soon. He also revealed the massive set—an entire ‘city’—that was built for the show.
MrBeast is known for going all out with everything he does. The 27-year-old YouTuber, with the most subscribers on the platform, creates videos with huge sets, over-the-top challenges, and incredibly large cash rewards.
In late 2024, he boosted his online fame by launching his own game show, ‘Beast Games,’ on Amazon Prime. The show featured 1,000 competitors battling it out in challenging contests for a grand prize of $5 million.
He’s taking things to the next level this year by building an entire city where the show’s contestants will live during the second season. Here’s what we’ve learned so far.
MrBeast reveals release date for Beast Games Season 2
MrBeast revealed more information and shared photos of the set for Beast Games Season 2 on November 20, 2025.
The images depict a modern, stadium-like structure featuring amenities such as swimming pools, a basketball court, and a lounge. It also seems to have two distinct stage areas, likely used for the show’s competitions.
MrBeast also announced that the new season will feature a much smaller group of competitors compared to the first one. Back in March 2025, he invited the world’s most physically and mentally capable individuals to apply for the reality show.
He described the upcoming season as a competition where 100 incredibly strong and 100 incredibly intelligent people will battle it out in unbelievably challenging games for a chance to win over $10 million in prizes.

He’s increased the cash prize to twice the amount from last year. However, with fewer competitors, it’s hard to predict what will happen in the competition.
Donaldson announced that Beast Games Season 2 will air on January 7, 2026, on Prime Video.
Beast Games quickly became a hit! Soon after it launched in early 2025, the first season was the most popular unscripted series on Amazon Prime, attracting over 50 million viewers in 240 countries.
This new project is the latest venture from the popular YouTube creator, following the recent announcement of his ‘Beast Land’ theme park in Saudi Arabia.
