Yacht Club Games has announced that a physical copy of Mina the Hollower will be released for the Nintendo Switch 2, according to a recent tweet from their official Twitter account.
The online store pages for Mina the Hollower have been updated to confirm it will be released as a Nintendo Switch 2 edition. This means your saved progress will transfer between the original Switch and the new version. If you already own the game on Switch, you’ll be able to upgrade to the Switch 2 edition with a free downloadable pack. Yacht Club Games has been sharing more about the game recently and has indicated a physical release is planned for sometime after the digital launch. Currently, no other platforms have been announced, though it will be available on the Switch 2 at a later date.

I’m a huge fan of Shovel Knight, and it’s awesome how Yacht Club Games did so many different physical versions for all sorts of platforms! With the new Mina character coming out, I just read a really interesting interview with Sean Velasco from Yacht Club Games. He talks all about the game and a lot more, which is super cool!
Mina the Hollower will cost $19.99 and will be available starting May 29th on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch, and the new Nintendo Switch 2.
