The homeless man who became famous online for saying his burger stand was listed on DoorDash appears to have been removed from the delivery platform.
In mid-March, a video of a man named King Leonard in Atlanta, Georgia, became popular online. The video showed him seemingly running a burger stand out of a shopping cart. Two women filmed him and asked if his operation was legitimate.
He mentioned they could order from him through DoorDash, which caught the women filming off guard. One of them exclaimed, “Is this for real? I wasn’t sure if it was! That’s so cool!” They admitted they had been playfully guessing whether he was serious or not.
The man explained his business was called Nasty Azz Cheeseburgers, and he wanted to be like McDonald’s by creating a similar, memorable mascot for his social media page.

Nasty Azz Cheeserburger goes viral
Although the video was shot close to the Civic Center MARTA station in Atlanta, the DoorDash listing for Nasty Azz Cheeseburger shows a location near Fulton County Airport.
The food delivery service also indicates the restaurant is currently closed and not taking orders.
“This restaurant you are trying to reach is not available on DoorDash right now,” it reads.

Some people wondered how the man managed to advertise the restaurant, while others admired his creativity and hard work. However, most agreed they wouldn’t eat anything from it unless it was prepared in a legitimate kitchen.
People were impressed that he started working with DoorDash. One person wondered why he was able to, while they couldn’t. Others expressed pride in his initiative, noting he was building a business from scratch despite facing difficulties. Several commenters acknowledged his strong work ethic and determination to succeed.
Someone else remarked, “King Leonard really found a solution when things seemed impossible, and I admire him for it.”
I’ve been seeing a lot of DoorDash stories blow up online lately, and one really got to me. There’s this 78-year-old guy delivering with his wife just to get by, and people have been so supportive! They’ve actually raised almost a million dollars for them, which is incredible. It’s awesome to see the gaming and wider internet community come together like that.
