An 18-year-old Londoner was jailed after becoming violent when a fast food restaurant gave him the wrong sauce with his order.
Nobody likes getting home with takeout only to find the order is wrong – whether items are missing or they included something you didn’t ask for.
Marwan Khadir, 18, was sentenced to three years in jail for threatening staff at a takeaway restaurant with what appeared to be a gun. The incident happened on December 24, 2025, after Khadir ordered food from a local chicken shop.
Police footage showed Khadir picking up his food to go, but he was upset to find they’d forgotten the sauces he’d requested. He called the restaurant to complain, but ultimately went back to pick up the missing items.

At the location, Khadir pulled what appeared to be a gun on an employee, accusing them of taking his sauces.
“Hey, can you come over here? I only asked for three garlic and three mayo sauces, but you gave me four burger sauces,” he said, clearly frustrated. “What do you mean you don’t have them? I specifically asked for three garlic and three mayo.”
The 18-year-old climbed over the counter and attacked the employee, threatening, “I’m going to kill you. Are you crazy?”
