Okay, so I’m really hyped for the Week 13 roster update in Madden 26! It’s coming soon, and it’s awesome because it brings the in-game teams completely up to date – all the trades, free agent signings, and who’s injured. Just a heads-up though, this update is just about the players – it doesn’t change how the game plays or fix any bugs. Still, it’s super fun to have the most accurate rosters when I’m trash-talking my friends online. Let’s get into when it’s actually dropping!

Madden 26 Week 13 Roster Update Release Date

The next roster update for Madden 26 is expected to be released on Thursday, November 27th, 2025. Due to Thanksgiving, the release might be delayed until Black Friday or Saturday, November 29th. Either way, the update will be available before the games start on Sunday.

Week 13 is Thanksgiving week, which means we have a tripleheader of NFL games on Thursday! The day kicks off with an early game between the Packers and the Lions in Detroit. Both teams won last week despite having several players injured. While the Packers won their first meeting earlier this season, the Lions are looking for a win to take the lead in the NFC North division.

Okay, so later today I’m really hyped to watch the Chiefs play the Cowboys in Dallas! Both teams just had some awesome wins – the Chiefs beat the Colts, and the Cowboys finally got their revenge against the Eagles. It feels like those wins could be exactly what they needed to get back on track. But honestly, if either team loses this one, it could seriously mess up their playoff hopes. It’s a big game!

The last Thanksgiving game features the Bengals versus the Ravens in Baltimore. Joe Burrow is anticipated to play, but even with improved performance compared to his time in Cleveland, veteran quarterback Joe Flacco hasn’t been able to lead the Ravens to many wins while Burrow’s been out. The question is, can Flacco spark a late-season turnaround?

Black Friday Football is back, and once again, the game starts at 3:00 PM Eastern Time. This year, the Chicago Bears will play the Philadelphia Eagles in Philadelphia. Both the Eagles and the Bears are close behind the leading Rams in the NFC, making this game very important for either team hoping to climb the standings. The Eagles are especially hoping to improve their offense against a Bears team that has won their last four games.

Week 13 promises some great games, and it all wraps up with a showdown between the New York Giants and the New England Patriots.
