The cast of Summer House has had a difficult week. After filming what seems to be a particularly dramatic reunion, audio from the taping was leaked online. While Bravo investigates who was responsible, Kyle Cooke has expressed his frustration, calling the leak “super frustrating and annoying.” He explained on Instagram that he doesn’t think it was recorded on a phone during filming, as cast members are careful to hide their phones. Cooke believes someone acted independently, and their attempt to profit from the leak failed since the audio is now widely available. He suspects the audio was captured from a live feed in another room, allowing the recorder to clearly hear conversations based on who was speaking.
Cooke admitted they likely won’t understand what happened for a while, and expressed regret about it. He compared it to what Andy Cohen said – that it was one of the most emotionally charged reunions ever filmed, and a difficult day for everyone involved.
