Kelly Clarkson is finishing her talk show after seven seasons. NBC says Clarkson decided to leave the daily show to focus on her children. The current season will continue through Fall 2026, with some guest hosts filling in, but Clarkson will host for the majority of it. In a statement, Clarkson explained that she wants to prioritize her family at this point in her life, but that this isn’t a permanent farewell. She plans to continue making music and performing, and may still appear on The Voice occasionally. She expressed gratitude to viewers for seven wonderful years of support.
Kelly Clarkson has been hosting her talk show since it started in Los Angeles in 2019, and later moved to New York. The show includes interviews with celebrities like Jack Black and Tanner from Love on the Spectrum, plus the popular segment “Kellyoke,” where she performs covers of well-known songs. Last year, Clarkson took a short break from hosting to be with her children while their father was unwell. Looking ahead, she’s starting a residency in Las Vegas this summer and hopes to include a few Kellyoke performances for fun.
