Johnsonville is marking America’s 250th birthday with a huge grilling package containing plenty of bratwursts to enjoy all summer long.

Johnsonville and Sam’s Club are teaming up to offer a special “Celebration Box” just in time for barbecue season. The box contains 250 of Johnsonville’s classic Original Brats, but it’s available for a limited time only.

Starting June 1st, this package will only be available on Sam’s Club’s website and costs $199.97. Each box contains bratwursts, plus a grilling apron and a pair of tongs.

Just 250 boxes will be available, containing a total of 62,500 bratwursts before the promotion ends.

Johnsonville continues trend of giant summer promotions

This isn’t the first time Johnsonville has leaned into massive Fourth of July-themed promotions.

Last year, to celebrate the 249th anniversary of American independence, the company gave away 249 sausages on Instagram. Now, for the first time, customers can buy a large package of these sausages directly from a store.

These special edition boxes are available until June 30th, or until we run out of stock. Fans should probably make room in their freezers soon, as they’re likely to sell out quickly!

Johnsonville’s new giveaway is part of a recent trend of popular food brands using online contests to connect with customers. For example, Capri Sun faced criticism for changing its bottle design, so they sold large quantities of their original-style juice pouches to fans who preferred the classic look.
