Jiro Ishii recently shared more information about his upcoming game, Shibuya Scramble Stories. This new live-action adventure game, set in Shibuya, is a follow-up to his popular game, 428: Shibuya Scramble. The game’s official website has been updated with all the latest details from Ishii’s announcement, thanks to Skeleton Crew Studio.
As a huge fan, I was so excited to hear that this game will let you play as five different characters! What’s even cooler is that each character will have their own unique story and perspective, which means we’ll get to see everything unfold in a totally new way depending on who we choose. It’s going to be amazing!
The list of the 5 main actors and protagonist characters in Shibuya Scramble Stories is as follows:
- Fumio Kitagami as Midori Midosuji, a journalist
- Kousei Amano as Kaiji Kayama, a taxi driver
- Yuuto Nakamura as Aren Ando, a lawyer
- Yosuke Kubozuka as Gin Ginbara, a novelist
- Masaru Matsuda as Ban Baba, The Man
The game, first shown in 2025, will feature Masakazu Arai, though his specific role hasn’t been announced yet. He’s currently listed among the main cast, which also includes Shunsaku Kudo, Manami Ute, Takuji Oyama, Kouta Kusano, and Saori Ito. Rounding out the announced characters is the game’s mascot, Siblla.
Although a trailer featuring the show’s characters was revealed during a recent livestream, a separate, official version of the trailer hasn’t been released yet. You can watch a recording of the livestream below, and the new trailer starts at the 20:17 mark.
