Jeff Wittek and David Dobrik have resolved their legal issues. Wittek attributes the conflict to a misunderstanding that stemmed from a previous member of their team.
On May 14th, Wittek shared on Twitter that he’s chosen to forgive and move on after a life-altering injury he sustained in 2021.
The Jeff FM host said he recently learned some information that a former colleague didn’t share with him at the time.
Wittek discovered that Dobrik’s company covered his medical bills after the incident, totaling about $110,000. Dobrik also personally paid an additional $41,000 in expenses without any hesitation.
Honestly, I was really frustrated because I didn’t find out about this until after the lawsuit started. Thankfully, David stepped up and helped with my medical bills, and now we’re on the same page about how things will be handled going forward. I’m sorry for any confusion this whole thing caused everyone.
I’ve been wanting to share this for a while now. For the past few years, I’ve been dealing with something that’s been really tough on me, both emotionally and mentally. Last year was particularly difficult – it was a really low point in my life – and it made me realize I needed to…

Jeff Wittek ends feud with David Dobrik after 2021 eye injury
In 2021, Wittek was hurt while filming a stunt for a David Dobrik vlog. The stunt involved Wittek swinging from a crane over a lake, which Dobrik was operating. Unfortunately, Wittek collided with the side of the vehicle and suffered a serious injury to his right eye.
Since the accident, Wittek has had many surgeries. Doctors feared the injuries could have caused him to lose his sight or even his life.

The YouTuber publicly blamed Dobrik for not supporting him after the incident, and strongly criticized him. In 2022, he took legal action against Dobrik and announced their friendship was over, stating he no longer wanted any association with him.
Dobrik didn’t say much about what happened, but described it as the most difficult experience of his life and expressed a strong desire to undo it if he could.
I haven’t seen anything publicly from Dobrik about this new stuff going on. But, it’s good to see him back to making videos regularly – it’s been a while since he was consistently uploading after everything with the Wittek lawsuit.
