Twitch streamer JasonTheWeen successfully finished his week-long survival challenge on a deserted island, and in the process, collected $20,000 for charity.
The creator spent seven days on a deserted island, livestreaming his attempt to survive using only basic supplies. He broadcast the entire experience to his audience as an endurance challenge.
For seven days, Jason broadcast the challenge live on Twitch and then posted the best moments from each day on his YouTube channel.
I was thrilled to see the final total from the challenge! We all managed to raise an amazing $20,957.22 for charity, and it was so cool watching the counter climb right up to the end.
JasonTheWeen shows weight loss after island survival challenge
Once Jason completed the challenge, he took off his shirt to show everyone how much weight he’d lost over the past week.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter) from February 21st, Jason shared before-and-after photos showing his weight loss during the challenge. While the exact amount of weight he lost isn’t clear, he mentioned losing muscle and developing a rash, likely from insect bites, before he left the island.

He described significant weight loss, including muscle loss, and a severe rash covering his body, particularly on his back, legs, feet, and hands. While waiting for a boat, he drew his stream name initials, ‘JTW,’ in the sand.
Someone asked Jason if the challenge was more difficult than he expected, and he replied, “Definitely. I didn’t realize how bad the sand fleas would be—they really bothered me, and that made the whole thing much tougher.”
Jason has had a busy start to 2026, recently announcing his breakup with Sakura, his former girlfriend.
