For a while, the Lorcana trading card game primarily featured characters from classic Disney animated films like Snow White, Mickey Mouse and friends, and more recent movies such as Tangled. Players often wondered if Lorcana would eventually include characters from other Disney-owned franchises, as there’s a huge potential for expansion. This could include live-action films, attractions from Disney parks (like the Haunted Mansion), and popular universes like Star Wars and Marvel.

2026 will bring exciting changes to Lorcana, as the game expands to include Pixar characters and stories. Starting with the May release of Wilds Unknown packs, players can collect cards featuring favorites from The Incredibles, Brave, and especially Toy Story.
