CD Projekt Red has hired another experienced professional from the gaming world to help develop Cyberpunk 2.
Following the addition of a creator from the game Kingdom Come to the team working on The Witcher 4, and reports of another meeting between Hideo Kojima and CD Projekt Red staff, it appears the Polish game developer has hired another talented individual. Reddit users have spotted that Jess Scott, who previously led Gameplay Programming at Insomniac Games, has joined CD Projekt Red.
According to her LinkedIn profile, she’s now working at the company’s Boston office, which is the team currently developing the next Cyberpunk 2077 game.
Scott worked at Insomniac Games for almost seven years, most recently on Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Prior to that, she spent over eight years at Harmonix Games (now part of Epic Games), leading development on Rock Band 4 and contributing to other popular music games. She also had a short period at Amazon.
At the end of May, Cyberpunk 2 (known until then as Project Orion) entered the pre-production phase.
