Indie 3D dungeon crawler Cralon is now available for PC via Steam

Pithead Studio has launched Cralon on Steam for PC. It’s a 3D dungeon crawler where you explore an old mine filled with both dangerous enemies and helpful allies.

The studio is run by two developers, Bjorn and Jennifer Pankratz. They founded the company in 2024, building on their experience at Piranha Bytes where they worked on popular games such as Gothic, Risen, and Elex.

Below you’ll find the official trailer, details, and images for Cralon. The game supports multiple languages, with full voice acting in both English and German. Subtitles are also available in French, Italian, Spanish, Polish, Czech, Ukrainian, Russian, and Brazilian Portuguese.

Cralon is an oldschool Indiegame with focus on exploration and story, made by two developers.

You play as Cralon, a courageous hero tracking a demon that’s been kidnapping people from a local village. While chasing it, the demon ambushes you, causing you to tumble into a deep, abandoned mine shaft, leaving you lost and trapped in the dark.

You’ll navigate a twisting labyrinth filled with hidden secrets, desperately seeking a way to escape an impending disaster. As you descend deeper into the underground world, a growing sense of unease will tell you that something isn’t right. By working with the strange beings within the mine, you’ll confront your fears and ultimately reveal the mine’s hidden truth.
