How to change language in ARC Raiders

Embark Studios, the team behind The Finals, has seen success again with their new game, ARC Raiders. The game, an ‘extraction shooter,’ attracted over 481,000 players on Steam at its busiest. Because it’s a new release, the developers are actively making improvements based on player feedback. While recent updates have been made, there’s still room for improvement – for example, players currently can’t easily change the game’s language.

How to change language in ARC Raiders

Many modern games, including ARC Raiders, don’t let you change the language directly within the game’s settings. This means you’ll need to use alternative methods. If you’re playing on PC through Steam, changing the language is actually quite easy:

  1. Find ARC Raiders in your Steam library and right click it.
  2. From the newly opened menu choose Properties.
  3. Click on Language and select the correct one from the top-down menu.
  4. Now, when you open ARC Raiders, it should be in new language.

As a big fan, I’ve been looking into how to change the language in ARC Raiders. On PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, it seems pretty straightforward. The game usually defaults to whatever language your console is already set to. So, if I want to play in a different language, I need to go into my PS5 or Xbox settings and change it there – it’s not something you can adjust within the game itself, apparently!
