What happens in the House of the Dragon Season 3 trailer?
The latest trailer for House of the Dragon reignites the epic story of Westeros and the Targaryen family. Following the events of season two, war is coming, and season three will showcase the long-awaited Battle of the Gullet between the opposing Black and Green factions.
As a huge fan, I’m getting so hyped for Season 3! HBO’s Francesca Orsi shared that we’re in for a real treat, starting with an absolutely massive battle sequence. They really took their time building it, and it sounds incredible. Apparently, one of the lead producers, Kevin de la Noy, even worked on Titanic, and he’s using all that experience – everything he learned about staging such a huge, impactful event – to make this battle truly unforgettable. I can’t wait!
Season 3 of House of the Dragon will star Emma D’Arcy as Rhaenyra, Matt Smith as Daemon, and Olivia Cooke as Alicent. Returning cast members include Rhys Ifans as Otto, Steve Toussaint as Corlys, Sonoya Mizuno as Mysaria, Fabien Frankel as Criston Cole, Harry Collett as Jace, Tom Glynn-Carney as Aegon II, Ewan Mitchell as Aemond, Bethany Antonia as Baela, Phoebe Campbell as Rhaena, Phia Saban as Helaena, Tom Taylor as Cregan Stark, Tom Bennett as Ulf White, and Freddie Fox as Ser Gwayne, along with other actors.
HBO‘s House of the Dragon Season 3 will premiere in June 2026.
