Hello Kitty and Spam have teamed up for a special collection! This limited-edition release combines the charm of the beloved Hello Kitty brand with the classic appeal of Spam.
Spam and Sanrio – the creators of Hello Kitty – have teamed up! They’ve released a limited-edition Spam can with Hello Kitty making (and seemingly enjoying) Spam musubi. You can find these collectible cans in stores across the country, but they won’t be around forever.
The companies say this partnership honors the lasting success of both brands and recognizes their loyal fans.
According to Spam brand manager Stephanie Swift, this partnership unites two brands known for their devoted fans and their knack for bringing happiness to people of all ages.
As a collector, when I heard they were teaming up Hello Kitty and Spam – yeah, Spam! – I immediately thought that was awesome. It just seemed like a really fun way to make something fans would actually want to hunt down and add to their collections.
Hello Kitty and Spam launch ‘Tour de Sizzle’ campaign
In addition to the limited-edition can, the companies are kicking off a new online campaign named “Tour de Sizzle.”
The campaign revolves around TourdeSizzle.com, a fun website where you can follow Hello Kitty and Spammy as they travel the world, exploring different foods and cooking styles.
Guests can travel to locations based on popular foods like Hawaiian Musubi, Korean Bibimbap, Japanese Ramen, and Canadian Poutine. Along the way, they can find secret surprises, gather virtual “Sizzle Passport” stamps, and access special bonus material.

The website is currently running a sweepstakes until June 23rd, where you can enter to win prizes like a special “Tour de Sizzle” package and exclusive free items.
If you didn’t win a Hello Kitty x Spam collectible can in the sweepstakes, you can still buy one at grocery stores that are carrying them, as long as they’re in stock.
This partnership continues the trend of food companies working with popular celebrities and brands to create special, limited-time products.
Hershey’s released a special line of Pokemon Kisses chocolates with collectible wrappers earlier this year. Around the same time, Papa John’s started a promotion based on the new Disney Pixar movie, Toy Story 5.
