As viewers anticipate the upcoming Season 3 of *Alice in Borderland*, many are asking if the show will be renewed for a fourth season. The popular Japanese sci-fi series has gained a dedicated following, and fans are eager to know if the story will continue beyond the next installment.
Here are the details on Alice in Borderland Season 4.
Has Netflix canceled Alice in Borderland or renewed it for Season 4?
The popular Netflix series *Alice in Borderland* is based on a manga created by Haro Aso, and he also developed the show. Unfortunately for viewers hoping for more seasons beyond the upcoming third one, it has been confirmed that the series will end there.
The first two seasons of the show adapted the entire manga series. Season 3 will feature a brand new, original storyline, picking up right after the events of Season 2. It’s scheduled to premiere on September 25, 2025, and will be the last season of the series.
The season finale begins with Arisu and Usagi facing the Queen of Hearts in a final croquet game atop a Tokyo skyscraper. During a break, the Queen attempts to break Arisu’s spirit by playing mind games, presenting him with increasingly unbelievable scenarios to make him give up. She first claims they’re in a virtual reality simulation from the future, then that aliens are controlling everything. Finally, she tries to convince him the entire world is a figment of his imagination, a way for him to deal with the loss of his friends in the crash.
Just as he was starting to believe the illusion was real, Usagi stopped him. She cut her hand, demonstrating that they were actually in the real world. This brought Arisu back to his senses, and he completed the game, bringing the entire series of games to an end.
After the deadly games, the remaining players can either continue living in the mysterious Borderland or go back to their normal lives. The story concludes with Arisu and Usagi discovering the Joker card, leaving their ultimate fate uncertain.
