Cygames announced that the popular game Granblue Fantasy will launch globally on March 10th. Players in most countries will be able to download and play it on PC through Steam.
This new version is being released to celebrate the original game’s 12th anniversary, which was recently observed in Japan on December 17th. Cygames clarifies that this Steam version will be completely independent of the existing Japanese versions on platforms like Mobage, Gree, DMM, and Yahoo, meaning you won’t be able to connect any old accounts to it.
The recent Instagram announcement also clarifies that the Steam version, while not launching in Japan and some other countries, will still offer support for both Japanese and English languages.
Cygames has shared a preview of what Granblue Fantasy will look like on Steam worldwide. The game will feature a standard 16:9 screen layout, along with extra sections displaying your in-game currency and helpful guides.

Granblue Fantasy is coming to Steam on March 10, 2026! ✨ You’ll be able to meet your favorite characters and build a powerful team. Please note this version is only for players outside of Japan and a few other regions, and you won’t be able to connect existing accounts to it. #Cygames #GBF
