Square Enix has created a special website to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy X, which will be celebrated this July.
The website has teased upcoming announcements, and has already unveiled new merchandise, including two albums. The first is a vinyl record set, “Final Fantasy X LP Vinyl Set Eternal Calm,” featuring 20 songs from the original game and new artwork by Tetsuya Nomura to celebrate the game’s anniversary. Announcing the release of a new analog disc set for FINAL FANTASY X!
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of FINAL FANTASY X, we’re releasing a new vinyl soundtrack! This special set includes 20 carefully chosen songs from the original game. The cover art is a new illustration by Tetsuya Nomura created for the anniversary, and the vinyl itself is a clear blue color, reminiscent of the game’s coastal setting. It’s a beautiful piece for any fan to display. Plus, a code is included to download the music as MP3s, so you can enjoy it even without a record player.
