Charlie Cox, nominated for Best Performance at The Game Awards for his role as Gustave in the popular game Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, has responded to the nomination. He expressed his excitement but emphasized that the true credit belongs to Maxence Cazorla, the actor who performed the character’s motion capture.
Cox recently expressed his excitement about the nomination at the La Conve/Animex event in Mexico. He emphasized that the incredible performance of the character was largely due to Maxence Cazorla, a talented French actor who did almost all of the motion capture work. Cox believes any recognition he receives should be shared with Cazorla, as his voice was only one component of the overall performance.
