Globally, the original film performed exceptionally well, earning the third-highest total revenue after the United States and Japan.
The film debuted with $4.3 million in the UK and Ireland, and $3.8 million in Germany – marking the biggest animated opening ever for the country, and significantly exceeding the first-week earnings of Bros. by $1 million.
