
Comedian and voice actor Eugene Mirman, known for his role as Gene on Bob’s Burgers, was rescued from a car crash on March 31st, according to People magazine. New Hampshire Governor Kelly Ayotte, her security team, and other people nearby helped pull Mirman from his car after it hit a toll booth on the F.E. Everett Turnpike. Police reported that Mirman was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. In addition to Bob’s Burgers, Mirman has appeared in shows like Flight of the Conchords, Home Movies, and Delocated.
Police are still investigating a recent collision and haven’t filed any charges. Governor Ayotte publicly thanked the state trooper who protects her, as well as the people who helped at the scene, via Twitter. She wrote that she was grateful for their courageous efforts to save lives and shared that she and her husband are wishing the injured driver a full recovery.
