Dragon Ball Officially Teams Up with KFC for a Finger-Lickin’ Good Release

Get ready for an epic crossover! KFC and Dragon Ball Z are teaming up for a special release, and the legendary voice of Goku will be narrating it all. It’s a surprisingly delicious collaboration you won’t want to miss!

KFC Italy has teamed up with the popular anime series Dragon Ball to create a special menu. To announce the collaboration, they featured Claudio Moneta, the Italian voice of Goku, in their first ad. Instead of simply narrating, Moneta powerfully shouted “Kamehameha!” as the new *Dragon Ball Zthemed menu items were shown off.

KFC Italia announced on TikTok that even Saiyans (from Dragon Ball) enjoy their fried chicken! The limited-edition Dragon Ball menu features the usual bucket of chicken and chicken burgers – you can get the burgers with teriyaki or spicy teriyaki sauce. But the real fun comes with the cheesy snack balls, which look just like the Dragon Balls from the show!

KFC’s recent partnership with Dragon Ball isn’t new – the fried chicken chain has teamed up with anime before. They’ve done collaborations with popular series like Pokémon and Spy x Family. In fact, KFC once created an anime short featuring Colonel Sanders reimagined as a trendy, young character.

The popular anime series Dragon Ball frequently partners with fast-food restaurants, like a recent collaboration with KFC in Japan. This year, they released a special meal based on the new anime, Dragon Ball Daima, which you can currently watch on streaming services such as Crunchyroll, Hulu, and Netflix.

The popular anime series Akira Toriyama collaborated with a fast-food chain to create special burgers. These included the Beef N’Qrispy Cheese Teriyaki Burger, the classic Teriyaki Beef Burger, a Sriracha Chicken Burger, and a spicier version called the Burger Sriracha Chicken N’Qrispy Cheese.
