In the third episode of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, titled “The Scales & the Sword,” Wilson Fisk successfully turns the tables on Daredevil, damaging his public image. Previously, the AVTF controlled the loading of weapons onto a ship and prevented the workers from leaving afterward. Fisk then instructs Officer Powell to take action, leading to the fallout.
Here are all the details.
Who dies in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Episode 3’s ending?
Wilson Fisk, also known as the Kingpin, instructed the Advanced Tech Task Force to eliminate the Russian workers aboard the ship. He planned to frame Daredevil for the killings.
In this episode, Daredevil travels to Red Hook and quickly defeats two guards. Following the sound of a ticking clock, he discovers the weapons, but realizes hostages are being held nearby and prioritizes rescuing them. He systematically takes down the surrounding guards, and unexpectedly, Jack Duquesne becomes involved in the fight.
It was incredible watching him create that steam screen to make his escape! I was really hoping Karen could warn Matt – poor thing, she almost got the message through. But then, wow, Angela del Toro just showed up as White Tiger and took down a guard by the van, grabbing their comms in the process. Talk about a powerful entrance!
Karen tries contacting Daredevil using a radio, and he responds by grabbing a walkie-talkie from a fallen guard. As the hostages begin to leave, a large explosion rocks the area – an AVTF cargo vehicle detonates, causing panic among those waiting to escape. Angela arrives to halt the remaining AVTF vehicles, and everyone manages to get away.
Despite Karen and Murdoch’s belief that things are calm, Kingpin unexpectedly changes the situation. He instructs Powell to destroy the ship carrying the workers who assisted with the illegal weapon deals. The resulting explosion eliminates the workers, destroys crucial evidence, and allows Kingpin to more easily control public opinion regarding vigilantes.
