Meanwhile, Solana’s cooking up something called the Alpenglow upgrade. Sounds like a fancy ski resort, but it’s actually a technical overhaul. If it works, Cardichi says it could make Solana the belle of the blockchain ball for financial institutions. Turns out, the team just waltzed over to form Zodl and raised $25 million from big shots like a16z and Winklevoss Capital. Talk about turning lemons into lemonade-or should I say, blockchain into bullion?
Cardichi’s betting on more updates from Zodl’s roadmap, which could send Zcash soaring to its old high of $880. At $533 now, it’s already up 1,200% this year. Not bad for a coin that almost had a midlife crisis!
