I’m so hyped! Pearl Abyss just dropped a new dev update for Crimson Desert, and it sounds amazing. They shared a bunch of details about what they’re working on between now and September 2026 – things like a better story, cross-save functionality so I can play on different platforms, and just general improvements to make the game even better. I can’t wait to see it all come together!
The biggest upcoming feature is cross-save, allowing you to share your game progress across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox once you connect your account. Additionally, the developers at Pearl Abyss are creating downloadable content, and they’ll share more information about that soon.

Dev Update: June-September 2026 Preview
Fellow Greymanes,
I’m so glad to see Crimson Desert has come this far! It’s all thanks to the amazing support and feedback from players like me since the game launched. The developers just shared a new update, and they wanted to thank us again and give us a sneak peek at what they’re working on next – it looks really promising!
We’ll be releasing these updates little by little between June and September, making sure they’re great for both longtime Pywel users and newcomers. We really value your feedback, so please keep sharing your thoughts as we continue to improve things.
We’re not stopping with the recent Pywel improvements! We’re also developing a new DLC for Crimson Desert, and while we can’t reveal specifics yet, we’re aiming to create a substantial addition to the game. We’ll share more information soon, so keep an eye out for updates.
As a big fan of Pywel, I’m really excited to hear the developers have been listening to our feedback about the story! They’re working on making Kliff’s journey flow even better and making key scenes more cohesive, which sounds fantastic. They’re hoping these changes will even give longtime players like me something new to discover, and I can’t wait to see what they’ve come up with!
I’m really excited to hear about the updates coming to Re-Blockade! They’re working on making everything around blockades feel smoother – how things lead up to them and what happens afterward. Plus, they’re adding ways to better protect our strongholds from being invaded, which is awesome. And the best part? They’re improving the rewards for liberating those strongholds, so it’ll actually feel worth the effort. Can’t wait to see it all in action!
We’re adding new challenges for players who enjoy combat, giving you a chance to really test your skills as a Greymane. We’ll share more information soon.
We’re adding a cross-save feature for Pywel! This will let you continue playing on different devices – PC, PlayStation, and Xbox – by linking your account and sharing your save files.
We’re making improvements to how Damiane and Oongka play, with adjustments designed to make all three characters equally viable and fun to use.
We’re continuing to improve activities outside of combat, like trading and farming, to make them more enjoyable and user-friendly based on player feedback.
The features and content mentioned are still being worked on, so they might be different when the update is officially available.
We’re dedicated to making Pywel a fantastic experience for every player, and we can’t wait to share what’s coming next!
Thank you!
