Corpse Party Tetralogy Pack physical release canceled in the West, digital games no longer launching as well

So, bummer news for anyone who was looking forward to the physical or digital release of the Corpse Party Tetralogy Pack – XSEED Games has unfortunately canceled it. That means we won’t be getting a boxed copy or a digital download, which is a real shame.

XSEED Games originally announced this game bundle in August, intending to release it this year. However, pre-orders for the physical version were paused last month due to an unexpected issue. Today, XSEED Games announced they’ve canceled both the physical release and the digital versions of the games included in the bundle.

Corpse Party fans:

We understand many of you were excited for the Corpse Party Tetralogy Pack. Unfortunately, we recently learned that some content within the pack doesn’t meet the requirements of today’s gaming platforms. Because of this, we’ve had to cancel the physical release of the pack and won’t be releasing those specific Corpse Party games digitally either.

We’re sorry for any frustration or disappointment this has caused. We’re still working with MAGES. to release Corpse Party II: Darkness Distortion in Western regions and will share updates as soon as we have them. Thank you for your patience and continued support of XSEED Games and the Corpse Party series.
