John Davis, who became famous for his appearances with his mother on the popular social media series ‘Coffee Time with John and Momma,’ has passed away at 55 years old.
I was really shocked to hear that Davis had passed away on June 10th. Apparently, someone had to call for help at his place, and sadly they couldn’t save him – I read about it in People magazine.
John and his mom gained a big online audience by sharing cooking videos, live streams, and glimpses into their family life from their kitchen. Their Facebook and YouTube channel, “Coffee Time with John and Momma,” grew to over 200,000 followers, and their videos often received hundreds of thousands of views.
A medical emergency reportedly happened during livestream
On June 10th, a Campbell County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to a call about a man who had stopped breathing. Police and emergency medical personnel arrived to find the man, later identified as Davis, deceased. Reports from TMZ indicate this happened while he was livestreaming.
Okay, so I was reading the report about what happened to Davis, and it said he had a bunch of health issues – heart failure, kidney problems, high blood pressure, diabetes, and he also had sleep apnea. But the medical examiner who looked into it didn’t think anything fishy went on, and it seemed like a natural thing that happened. Basically, they didn’t suspect foul play at all.
I was really shocked to see a sweet video of John and his mom celebrating Mother’s Day pop up online on June 12th. But then I read the caption – it said something about devastating and heartbreaking news, which made me instantly worried.
The passing of Davis follows closely after the death of TikTok creator John West, who had been privately struggling with health problems for some time. West’s family shared that he faced several ongoing medical issues, leading to many heartfelt tributes from his fans and other creators online.
