It’s amazing how movies and TV shows create believable worlds. HBO Max recently released a first look at season two of The Pitt, and it’s clear they’ve done a fantastic job. They filmed on location in Pittsburgh, but also used sets built at Warner Bros. Studios, creating a seamless look. According to creator R. Scott Gemmill, the set design was actually planned before the writing process. He explained at a preview event that the set closely resembles Allegheny Hospital in Pittsburgh, which was crucial for bringing the show to life.
Okay, so the show’s visuals are great, but honestly, I’m here for Dr. Robby’s midlife crisis! He’s got a motorcycle now, and he’s riding it without a helmet – seriously?! Aside from that, it’s hard to tell what’s going to happen this Fourth of July. The music feels like something my dad would listen to after a divorce, and it really paints a picture of Michael still dealing with a lot of trauma from everything that happened last season. Season two of The Pitt starts January 8th on HBO Max, and I’m really hoping things will finally calm down for him and we’ll get a more relaxed day!
