Top 3 TV Shows With 5 Episodes Or Less, Rated 10/10

I suspect there’s a link between how many episodes a show has and its rating on Rotten Tomatoes, even though I don’t have any proof. It seems like shorter shows – those with fewer episodes – tend to get better scores. This makes sense because a common criticism of shows and movies is that they become too drawn out. With fewer episodes, there’s less chance of that happening.

NCIS’ Most Impotrant Gibbs Rule Isn’t What You Think

While no one can truly replace Mark Harmon’s portrayal of the character, NCIS: Origins deepens his story by exploring his early life. The 2024 spinoff series reveals how some of Gibbs’ defining moments and traits from the original NCIS came to be. It also provides backstories for other important characters, like Dick Kowalski (Michael Harney) and Mary Jo (Tyla Abercrumbie). But Gibbs remains the central figure as the story unfolds.

HBO Has Another DC TV Show In The Works, But I Don’t See This One Connecting With James Gunn’s DCU

Variety reports that a TV series based on V for Vendetta is in development. James Gunn and Peter Safran, who are executive producers on the project, have hired Pete Jackson – known for writing British shows like Somewhere Boy and The Death of Bunny Munro – to write the adaptation. Channel 4 in the UK attempted a V for Vendetta series previously, but the project didn’t move forward.

Sci-Fi’s First Hero Was A Female Character, 52 Years Before Sigourney Weaver’s Ripley

Ripley is an incredibly important character, particularly as a strong female lead in a 1970s science fiction film. Sigourney Weaver’s portrayal was groundbreaking, and its effects are still visible today, not only in later Alien movies like with Rain in Alien: Romulus, but also in other sci-fi series, such as Katee Sackhoff’s Starbuck in Battlestar Galactica.

James Gunn Celebrates New Batman TV Series Release

The new show, Bat-Fam, takes a fresh approach to the Batman universe. Unlike most stories, it doesn’t center around traditional heroes like Nightwing and Batgirl. Instead, it features reformed villains – characters like Ra’s Al Ghul, Volcana, and Man-Bat – as part of Batman’s team. The series premiered on Prime Video on November 10, 2025, and is already gaining positive attention from both fans and James Gunn, who recently shared his excitement about it.

Jennifer Lopez’s Kiss Of The Spider Woman Remake VOD Release Date Revealed After $2M Flop

Despite receiving generally positive reviews – earning a 77% score on Rotten Tomatoes – the 2025 film Kiss of the Spider Woman didn’t attract enough moviegoers to be considered a box office success. Made with a budget of around $30 million, the musical drama only brought in under $2 million worldwide. Now, Lionsgate is counting on revenue from home viewings – rentals and purchases – to help recoup some of its costs.

Come See Me In The Good Light Review: Andrea Gibson’s Death Is Reframed As A Stunning Invitation To Live

Ryan White’s film portrays Gibson during their final months, showing a surprisingly joyful and meaningful period of life. It challenges typical perceptions of living with cancer by focusing on the beautiful connection between Gibson and poet Megan Falley. Rather than a story of defeat, the film depicts a journey toward freedom and acceptance. As Gibson states in an interview, “Finding happiness becomes easier when we realize our time is limited.” The film shows Andrea and Meg embracing life, even amidst challenges, and finding a unique sense of peace.
