10 Best American Turn-Based RPGs of All Time

The most engaging American turn-based RPGs challenge players to think carefully and plan their moves. These games draw inspiration from both Japanese and classic Western RPGs, and they all offer a fantastic experience.

Survivor Recap: Mr. Jeff’s Neighborhood

The competition begins with a classic endurance challenge: contestants must support their own weight while suspended in a bucket. The last person remaining—traditionally a test of strength—wins immunity. This challenge, known as “Wrist Assured,” has seen a few women win, but only when both the last man and woman had already secured individual immunity. Monica Culpepper is the only woman to have won the challenge outright, and that was during Blood vs. Water against just two male competitors. Jeff, as Jonathan calls him, usually offers players the chance to sit out the challenge in exchange for rice at this point in the game. However, this time he’s adding a twist: he’ll make a wager. If five players believe they can last longer than him and succeed, they’ll earn the rice. But if he outlasts even a single one of them, nobody gets the reward.

The Valley Recap: Boys of Summer

The show gets off to a strange start when Danny introduces the “Mister Milker” – a bib designed to hold bottles, supposedly to simulate the experience of breastfeeding. Honestly, no man will actually understand breastfeeding just by having bottles strapped to his chest. It’s like changing where you put a cup holder in a car – it changes how you hold the bottle, but not the experience itself. It won’t feel anything like a baby latching on, with their gums and lips, tiny nails digging in, and a little hand pulling at your hair. Maybe if the Mister Milker was something actually painful, like a rabbit nibbling on him, he might get a small idea, but even then, no. And to top it off, he puts a photo of Nia on his face, hoping to look like her. It doesn’t work – he just ends up looking like a dry cleaner with celebrity pictures plastered all over the walls.

All 23 Naruto Villains, Ranked Worst To Best

As a huge fan of Naruto, I always felt a little let down by Kaguya Otsutsuki. On paper, she should be one of the best villains ever – she’s the final boss of Naruto Shippuden! But honestly, her introduction felt really rushed and out of nowhere. They gave her some backstory, but I never really connected with why she was doing what she was doing. Plus, she was just so ridiculously powerful that any tension just disappeared. It’s a shame, because it made her a surprisingly divisive villain for a series I love so much.

The Mormon Wives Are Coming to California

The cast of the new reality show includes popular YouTubers like Aspyn Ovard and Avery Woods, along with Salomé Andrea, McCall DaPron (Mayci Neeley’s sister), Chandler Higginson, Ashleigh Pease, and Madison Bontempo. Podcaster Bobbi Althoff is also joining, and there’s even a hope Drake might tune in! According to ABC executive Rob Mills, expect to see more familiar faces pop up – especially Mayci Neeley, since her sister is on the show. He also hinted at potential appearances from cast members of the OC reality series, suggesting the show will feature connections and crossovers between different groups and locations.

Parker Posey Is Running The Mob

Parker Posey is hosting the new reality competition show, The Mob, and is a perfect fit for the role. According to Rob Mills, an executive at ABC, Alan Cumming paved the way for respected actors to also host reality TV. Mills told Vulture that Cumming proved you can succeed in both scripted dramas and shows like The Traitors without damaging your reputation. This opened up opportunities for others, and when Parker Posey expressed interest in the genre, The Mob felt like the right project. The show is being made by the same companies behind The Traitors – Studio Lambert and Primal Media.

Blumhouse’s The Mummy Is A Return To Form For Monster Movie Remakes

Recently, Blumhouse Productions has begun investing in more ambitious and costly films, which allows for greater potential success but also increases the risk of significant losses. While M3GAN 2.0 was expected to be a success – and many, including myself, enjoyed it – the shift in style from the first film’s playful horror to a more serious action-thriller didn’t resonate with audiences, resulting in a disappointing performance at the box office.
