The new film features Anne Hathaway as Andy Sachs, who unexpectedly finds herself back at Runway magazine right after losing her job and winning an award for serious journalism. Runway is facing criticism for promoting fast fashion, and Andy is brought in to try and improve its image. She reconnects with her former boss, Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep), her supportive mentor Nigel Kipling (Stanley Tucci), and her complicated colleague Emily Charlton (Emily Blunt). The film features the usual chaos of Fashion Week, but critics find it merely okay – not great. According to Rolling Stone‘s David Fear, the film relies too heavily on familiar tropes. He notes a longing for the “golden age” of magazines clashes with concerns about the current state of the media and the world that made the original Devil Wears Prada seem like a fantasy. The sequel attempts to address multiple issues but ultimately struggles to satisfy, wanting to both acknowledge problems and offer escapism.

The new Michael Jackson movie came out in theaters on April 24th and quickly became a huge success, earning $97 million in the US and $217 million around the world during its first weekend – the best opening ever for a movie about a musician. With this strong performance, the film’s focus on Jackson’s early career, and a message at the end promising “His story will continue,” many people are already expecting a second movie.

By 2026, Lorcana will have been around for three years, and it’s entering an exciting new phase. This next era will build on the game’s successes while pushing it forward with fresh ideas. Recent updates are already bringing more beloved classic movies into the game, and even more additions planned for later this year will solidify this new direction. Just as PIXAR revolutionized animation with its first film in the 90s, it’s poised to do the same for Lorcana.

Skeletor is the most recognizable villain from Masters of the Universe, first appearing in the 1983 cartoon. His depiction in the upcoming live-action movie will likely determine whether it succeeds or fails. While fans have had some valid worries about this new version of Skeletor, a recent featurette called “Forces of Evil” suggests the film is heading in the right direction. Director Travis Knight has confirmed that one of Skeletor’s defining characteristics will definitely be included in the movie.

The long and complicated split between Saniei and Lally has been a recurring storyline on The Valley for several seasons. Surprisingly, Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous does a better job of recreating the feeling of the original 1993 Jurassic Park film than any of the movies that followed. The show features a fantastic voice cast, including Raini Rodriguez, Kausar Mohammed, Sean Giambrone (from The Goldbergs), and Jenna Ortega before she became famous. The story centers around a group of teens who get an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the Jurassic World theme park – an opportunity of a lifetime.

The second season of “Daredevil: Born Again” is building to a dramatic climax as the conflict between Daredevil and Mayor Fisk comes to a head. In a recent development, Jessica Jones has officially joined Daredevil’s fight, and her appearance has also uncovered important details about Luke Cage.

Nolan described his film, The Odyssey, as a grand-scale story fitting for the subject matter, but noted it’s also surprisingly concise, telling the Associated Press, “It’s an epic film, as the subject matter demands, but it is shorter.”
