MCU’s X-Men Movie Gets New Script From Creator Of 98% RT Score Emmy-Winning TV Show

Director Jake Schreier recently told Collider that his upcoming X-Men movie for Marvel Studios is still in development. While Michael Lesslie originally wrote the script, it’s now being rewritten by Lee Sung Jin, the creator of Beef, and Joanna Calo, who also worked on Schreier’s Thunderbolts film. Schreier explained that he, Sung Jin, and Calo have a strong working relationship, having collaborated on Season 1 of Beef and Thunderbolts.

David Cross: The (Weird) Gift That Keeps on Giving

As a film buff, I always love seeing the credits at the end, and I’ve been piecing together who was behind the camera for this shoot. Stephanie Diani was the photographer, and she had some great help from JMackenzie Calle as her assistant. The whole thing went down at the Holiday Cocktail Lounge, and Morgan … Read more

Easy Sci-Fi Shows That Even Casual Fans Will Love

Science fiction didn’t become instantly popular because its ideas can sometimes be complex. Some authors build their stories on real science, striving for believable worlds, while others create incredibly detailed universes. Shows like Doctor Who and Star Trek have decades of background information, which can feel overwhelming for newcomers. While enjoying complex sci-fi or vast universes is rewarding, these series offer a more accessible starting point for casual fans.

Apple TV’s Sci-Fi Dark Matter Officially Confirms Return Date

I was so excited when Dark Matter first came out on Apple TV in May 2024, and then thrilled when it got renewed just a few months later in August! After that, we hadn’t heard much about when Season 2 would actually arrive. But finally, Apple TV just announced it’s coming on August 28th – I can’t wait!

‘The Boys’ Season 5’s Impressive Record Sets up the Ending We’ve Wanted

The final season of the show is getting rave reviews, and it looks like it will actually deliver a satisfying ending – something rare for long-running series. While details are scarce, critics suggest that the characters we’ve followed for five seasons will finally get the conclusions their stories deserve. This is especially exciting in a landscape where many shows simply don’t provide closure.

‘Every Day Turns Out to Be the Most Stressful Day You’ve Ever Had’

The first season of Jury Duty followed Ronald Gladden, a regular person who unknowingly served on a fake jury and successfully reached a unanimous verdict. Now, the series is back with Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat. This time, 25-year-old Anthony Norman from Nashville takes a temporary job at a quirky hot-sauce company called Rockin’ Grandma’s during their company retreat. Over eight episodes, Anthony deals with a series of increasingly ridiculous situations—including a failed marriage proposal, an unexpected discovery involving a water bottle, and a very unusual story from a motivational speaker—before ultimately saving the company from a bad business deal.

‘Memory of a Killer’ Starring Patrick Dempsey Renewed for Season 2 by Fox

The film Memory of a Killer is based on the 1985 novel The Alzheimer Case by Flemish author Jef Geeraerts. It stars Patrick Dempsey as Angelo Doyle, a hitman whose carefully separated professional and personal lives start to fall apart when he begins to show signs of Alzheimer’s disease – and someone attempts to harm his pregnant daughter. This story isn’t entirely new; the novel was previously adapted as a Belgian film in 2003 and as the 2022 film Memory, which starred Liam Neeson.

There Has Never Been a Better Time for a Dr. Mario Movie

It might seem strange, but I truly believe I’ve cracked the code for Hollywood success. Having some insight into how studio executives operate – and let’s be honest, it’s all about the bottom line – I realized they’re always looking for ways to build on existing franchises. They want to take something popular and connect it to something new, but familiar. That’s why I have this incredible idea: a Dr. Mario movie! Imagine the fun, colorful world of the Super Mario films blended with the dark, realistic tone of The Pitt. It’s a winning combination, and I’m convinced it’s exactly what audiences want.
