With so many games relying on sequels or the same old ideas, it’s refreshing when something truly original comes along. ARC Raiders, created by the team behind Battlefield at Embark Studios, is generating excitement because it’s different. It’s not just one thing that makes it stand out – it’s a combination of innovative gameplay, a unique visual style, and a focus on what players want. If you’re tired of the same old games, this sci-fi shooter could be a breath of fresh air.

The soundtrack includes all 97 songs from the original game, plus 11 new tracks from the Visions of Four Heroes downloadable content. You can listen to it online or purchase a digital copy through the links provided.

A’s Test Server was a mobile version of the Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner series, originally released for PlayStation 2 in 2004 and 2005. This mobile game featured a brand new story and was first offered through a monthly subscription in December 2006. Atlus later released a full version for a one-time purchase in late February 2007, and this new port is based on that complete version.

The original Dragon Slayer, an action RPG by Falcom, came out in 1984 for the PC-8801. This series is highly influential and considered a cornerstone of the action RPG genre. As of now, details about the new project celebrating its 45th anniversary – including which platforms it will be on and when it will be released – haven’t been announced. I’m so excited! A 2CD soundtrack with 39 tracks from both games is coming out in Japan on March 18th, and you can already pre-order it there. They’ll be opening up pre-orders for those of us in North America and Europe soon, too. The artwork is absolutely gorgeous – it’s by the character designer, Gen Kobayashi!
