Since his release from prison, George Santos has been incredibly active – unbelievably so, in fact! He somehow managed to win the New York Marathon, steal the jewels from the Louvre museum, and even make an appearance on Saturday Night Live, all while also winning the World Series. It’s been a whirlwind week! On SNL, Bowen Yang played George Santos again, taking calls from Santos’s fellow inmates, including Ghislaine Maxwell, Luigi Mangione, and Diddy. Apparently, Santos would have happily shared a Taylor Swift concert with Luigi.
In August 2024, George Santos admitted to wire fraud and stealing identities, leading to an 87-month prison sentence. However, President Trump shortened his sentence on October 17th, after Santos had served about 80 days. Immediately after his release, Santos resumed making appearances on Cameo. Jimmy Kimmel now has the opportunity to do something ill-advised, but legally permissible.
