So, I saw that Bobbi Althoff, the podcaster, is dealing with some really nasty comments online. Apparently, she shared videos of her new boyfriend on TikTok, and people haven’t been very nice about it. She’s responding to all the hate, which is good to see.

The podcaster recently introduced her new boyfriend, Tyler Hawkins, on TikTok. Unfortunately, she’s been receiving negative comments since sharing the videos.

On November 24th, Althoff responded to negative comments, specifically addressing those who accused her of being quickly replaced after her divorce and questioned how fast she seemed to move on.

She explained that whenever she posts a picture of her partner, especially marking their one-year anniversary, she receives hurtful comments accusing her of being used or taken advantage of. She also said she consistently gets an overwhelming amount of negative comments on all of her videos.

Honestly, it’s been really tough lately. I think it’s just because I get a lot of attention from guys online, and a lot of it is just…mean. I wish I could just brush it all off, but I’m only human, you know? If people were constantly saying negative things about you every day, it would definitely start to affect you too.

Althoff pointed out she felt people were trying to elicit sympathy, and then asked if those critical of her would think twice before posting negative comments in the future.

She admitted it might be a lot to ask, but said it’s incredibly frustrating to constantly face negativity and unkindness online, especially because she tends to want to please others. She explained that people are simply cruel on the internet.

She explained that she’s been posting less content lately because of the negative and hateful comments she’s been receiving. She expressed her confusion and frustration, saying she doesn’t understand why people are so critical of her and what she might have done to deserve such negativity.
