As a Battlefield fan, I’m used to crazy stuff happening – the games are basically built for ridiculous, physics-breaking moments! But it looks like players have found a new exploit in the just-released Battlefield 6 where you can bounce off ladders, and the developers are already working to fix it.
As a huge fan of the Assault class, I was really excited about the ladder gadget – it’s supposed to help us and our team get to higher ground quickly! But honestly, it’s been a little buggy. I’ve found myself bouncing off the ladder sometimes when I try to climb, which is super frustrating when you’re in the middle of a firefight!
Like always happens with a new glitch, everyone immediately started trying to break the game with it! It’s led to a ton of funny clips online of people “ladder launching” – basically, they’re finding ways to fling themselves way up into the air. Right now, it doesn’t seem like a super effective tactic, and honestly, I don’t think this is something we’ll be able to use for very long, but it’s still pretty cool to watch!
After a user on X (formerly Twitter) requested a fix for a bug, Battlefield’s lead producer, David Sirland, responded with a concise: “We will.”
Can we patch this please?

Battlefield Studios has responded quickly to what players have been saying, fixing problems with how fast Conquest matches move and inaccuracies with hitting opponents. These improvements should ensure Battlefield 6 is in good shape when its first season begins on October 28th.
Battlefield 6 is off to a strong start, with early reports suggesting it’s selling incredibly well – around 6.5 million copies in less than a week. This puts it on par with the sales numbers typically seen by the Call of Duty franchise.
