James Cameron returns with the latest Avatar movie, Avatar: Fire and Ash. Along with the film, fans can now buy a new range of merchandise.
ScreenRant has released a video showing the cast of Avatar: The Way of Water—Oona Chaplin, Jack Champion, Bailey Bass, and Trinity Jo-Li Bliss—checking out some different items.
The video starts with a funny moment where Chaplin jokes, “If this is Varang, I don’t want to be right,” playing on the name of her character, Varang. She’s also surprised to see a bright red hat featuring the logo from the movie Avatar.
The group then discovered an Avatar pop-up book, and were amazed as the characters seemed to jump off the page. “This is insane!” Bliss shouted, while Chaplin pointed out, “She’s coming right at you!”—referring to a pop-up version of the character Varang.
Bass noticed the other characters while Chaplin expressed her delight, saying the interactive features made her feel like she could soar through Pandora. She added, “My kids would absolutely love this.”
The video also shows the cast members getting enthusiastic about a sticker book, and they start decorating their shirts with the stickers. Later, Chaplin carefully examines a visual dictionary for the film Avatar: Fire and Ash, and she’s impressed by the amount of detail it contains. She says she’s looking forward to reading it.
The movie Avatar is releasing collectible figures of its main characters, like Jake Sully, Neytiri, and the villain Miles Quaritch, as well as their banshees and the character Varang. One reviewer described the figures as “cool.” Another showcased the figures of Jake and Neytiri, the parents of the character Tuk, and someone playfully tried to make one of the figures dance.
The cast of Avatar was amazed by the merchandise, with Chaplin describing the clothing as “fierce.” Bliss was particularly excited, exclaiming, “This is it, everyone – the toys, the books, the hoodies, everything! It’s all so much fun!”
At the end of the video, Bass expresses her excitement for fans to receive the merchandise, and encourages everyone to see Avatar: Fire and Ash in theaters.
